Yo, its your boy Tyler the owner is a nice man and godly man, I grew up here since I was 4, years ago he taught me it worked in the first hour I got better and now I skate with college kids there in a line.... I miss you Cheryl may you rest in peace in the pearly gates of God's palace. Any ways the owner is absolute legend he's nice and greets you. I would totally recommend his skates. He helped me with my depression. Anyways have a nice day. Sincerely blade Jr.

I started going to Skates 280 over 20 years ago and went nearly every weekend throughout my childhood. I've invested countless hours (and dollars) to this rink, making many, many friends, some of which ended up becoming lifelong. Getting to know the staff as time went on was also a treat unto itself. It pains me to read other reviews about the passing of Cheryl. I regret not coming back more often to see her, along with the entire Skates 280 family. I miss them all! Knowing Will, the way the rink is run surely hasn't changed much. Because of that, they've been able to stay open all these years and will surely continue to as time goes on. I also would like to thank the owners for letting us use the rink for practice when we had our inline speed skating team together all those years ago and being supportive of us when we competed in our various events.
