The Crimson Tide is washing over Alabama this weekend, and it may affect your travel plans.In a Friday news release, officials with the Birmingham-Shuttlesworth International Airport warned of heavier-than-normal traffic Sunday, due in part to Alabama's upcoming showdown with the Texas Longhorns.Both American and United Airlines have reportedly added nonstop flights between Birmingham and Austin throughout the weekend. Those additional seats and the large fan following of both teams will make for a busy day at BHM.
