Take three steps in any direction at the BJCC Exhibition Halls on Saturday, and you were likely to bump into a Mandalorian, a Ghostbuster, a Stormtrooper, a Na'vi hunter, a friendly furry, a winged fairy or even Batman himself. Alabama Comic Con was in full force in downtown Birmingham, and when AL.com paid a visit to the con on Saturday afternoon, the exhibition halls were filled with costumed characters from science fiction, fantasy, comics, anime and more. Celebrity guests were on hand, ranging from Giancarlo Esposito of 'Breaking Bad' and 'The Mandalorian' to Doug Jones of 'Hellboy' and 'The Shape of Water.
